Coaching Coordinator
Company: Soccer Shots Northeast PA
Location: Northeast PA Territories (Includes travel across Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Monroe Counties!)
Position Type: Full-Time,(30-40 hours/week, including weeknights & Saturdays)
Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 Annually (Based on experience)
Reports To: Regional Director
About Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our innovative curriculum introduces children (ages 2-8) to soccer while emphasizing character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.
Objective of Position
The Coaching Coordinator manages our coaching staff and master schedule. This role balances on-field leadership with administrative coordination, ensuring our coaches are highly trained, properly scheduled, and consistently evaluated to maintain our high program standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Field Coaching & Staff Training
- Active Coaching: Lead 15 to 25 high-level soccer sessions per week based on business needs.
- Staff Development: Work with the Director of Coaching to train, mentor, and evaluate staff on-field performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and share feedback with coaches to drive professional growth.
- Master Schedule: Create, manage, and optimize the master coaching schedule across all territories.
- Daily Operations: Coordinate weekly staffing, approve payroll hours, manage time-off requests, and submit regional invoices.
- Communication: Handle weather cancellations, schedule changes, and timely reschedules with coaches, parents, and directors.
- Team Support: Maintain weekly communication with coaches regarding curriculum updates, attendance tracking, and season start dates.
- Inventory: Maintain and distribute coaching equipment, prizes, and certificates.
- Community Outreach: Assist with distributing registration marketing materials, hanging posters, and representing Soccer Shots at community events.
- Availability: Available for weeknights or weekdays and Saturdays when programs run.
- Flexibility: Willingness to assist other departments when needed.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for daily dialogue with coaches, parents, and site directors.
- Passion for youth development and sports.
