About the Role:
Soccer Shots is looking for an energetic and passionate Children's Soccer Coach to join our team in the Longview area! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young players by combining a love of soccer with the joy of working with kids. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for young children
  • Create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all participants
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress
  • Manage classroom and field behavior in a fun and constructive manner
  • Arrive prepared and on time to all scheduled practices and events
  • Represent the Soccer Shots brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
  • Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation to travel to program locations in the Longview area
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with kids
