Overview
Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, Inc. is looking for a candidate to operate a forklift and respond quickly in a fast paced Industrial production environment. This candidate must be able to pull orders, load trucks and stage. We manufacture heavy steel industrial automotive lifts. Must be able to operate in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Starts out at $20.19/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Load trucks and unload trucks.
- Stage trucks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner all day, every day in a fast paced industrial production environment.
- Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment all day, every day.
- Ability to work with heavy steel industrial equipment.
- 6S
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Warehouse experience
- Great attendance record
- Must wear steel toes shoes
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starter
- Able to work overtime as needed and some Saturdays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours
- Must be able to work as a team player
- Must align with the Snap-on mission statement
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
