Overview

Location: North Central Region 

 

Position Summary: Responsible for the implementation and management of sales programs and processes pertaining to franchisees, and for programs specially designed for franchisees with assistants, and multiple franchises.  Maintain accountability for the P&L with regard to programs to achieve the region’s budgeted number.  Create, coordinate, and manage programs, including, but not limited to, franchise “Sales Assistant”, TSSR, TKSR, SESR, and Partners in Profitability.  In addition, create, coordinate and manage sales programs for franchisees with assistants, and multiple franchises. Drive sales through these programs to increase regional sales performance.  Influence franchisees and help build franchise teams to increase regional sales. Directly supervise special programs personnel, coaching and developing them for future positions.  Test and pilot new programs within the region to determine feasibility and implement those that are successful. 

Responsibilities

Key Tasks: 

  • Implement tactical field sales programs and promotions, and drive sales within these programs.
  • Manage communications surrounding these programs and initiatives, in addition to related policies.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop program personnel.
  • Participate in development and facilitate implementation of new sales programs and activities to meet strategic initiatives.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive sales initiatives focused on sales growth, franchisee development, and product sales specialization.
  • Manage special projects associated with the improvement/enhancement of sales related services and their implementation.
  • Attend monthly sales meetings, upgrading monthly sales meeting execution.
  • Manage and coordinate Think Big events when in the region.
  • Improve quality of franchisee business contacts.
  • Advise franchisees with assistants and multiple franchises on best ways to implement sales strategies to exceed sales goals with an assistant and multiples.
  • Educate franchisees and assistants on benefits and features of Snap-on products
  • Teach franchisees and assistants sales and collection skills.
  • Drive customer-focused culture and pull marketing shift by coaching franchisees on how to uncover customer needs and connect with customers.
  • Educate and demonstrate to franchisees the importance of having an assistant or multiple franchises.
  • Use teambuilding strategies to ensure quality sales from franchisees and their assistants.

Qualifications

Requirements:

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a focus on Marketing or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of management experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience
  • Previous experience as a Snap-on business manager

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Able to balance empathy for franchisees, customers, and subordinates with business objectives
  • Applied knowledge of the psychology of selling
  • Knowledge of franchise agreements

  • Proficient at Microsoft Office
