About this role
Overview
As a Material Handler 1 at Snap-on AutoCrib, you will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth in our warehouse and inventory management operations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently load and unload freight using appropriate tools and
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity of stock records.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to
- Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging; identify and dispose of defective items
- Pick, stage, and verify materials for production orders or customer shipments in accordance with pick lists, ensuring accuracy and proper sequence of operations.
- Transfer inventory and prepare job kits based on order requirements to support efficient production
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to optimize

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehousing, logistics, or material handling experience is beneficial but not
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.
- Strong organizational and time management
- Good communication and interpersonal
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software are
