Supervisory Responsibilities
Hires and trains new employees.
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned Team.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
The Compliance Auditor is responsible for performing risk management and control management audits to ensure compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. Position also includes all safety related initiatives including procurement, audit, and CPR training programs. Hazard materials documentation and training coordination is also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.
Daily Responsibilities
Provide unbiased examination and evaluation of all processes and procedures as designated by the Compliance Manager.
Perform and control audit cycles including risk management and control management to monitor compliance.
Prepare comprehensive warehouse audit reports with recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and present reports that reflect audits results and documentation processes.
Conduct follow up audits to monitor progress.
Engage in continuous knowledge regarding best practices, techniques, performance, rules and regulations.
Implement and maintain documentation in multiple databases.
Document and maintain TX-ISO web based programming.
Develop and enforce safety related policies and procedures. Includes all company/local/state/federal regulatory processes and procedures.
Develop and communicate safety plans, rules, and work procedures.
Procure safety supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) devices.
Maintain current hazardous materials documentation.
Maintain records of safety-related incident/accidents and propose corrective actions.
Organize and conduct OHSA training plans.
Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
Conduct or provide training for all employees in safe and healthful work practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Efficiencies - % of Job 5%
Builds and maintains a work environment that s positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.
Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.
Team Building/Leadership - % of Job 5%
Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the companys culture.
Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, or related field is preferred.
Requires three to five years experience in warehouse auditing.
Requires three to five years warehousing safety experience. Prefer experience in electronics repair environment.
Essential Skills
Requires proven working experience as an internal auditor.
Requires proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
Requires excellent organizational skills.
Must have high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Must have sound independent judgement.
Requires excellent communication and advisory skills.
Must be able to multitask and work without supervision.
Requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suites and web based programming.

Working Conditions
Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
