As a Labourer in our Reman operations team, you'll play an important role in supporting tradespeople and helping maintain an efficient, organized, and safe work environment. We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial setting.
 
In this role, you'll contribute to the day-to-day operation of the yard by supporting equipment movement, material handling, site upkeep, and general maintenance activities that help keep work flowing safely and efficiently.
 

Base Wage: $30.27 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Acheson, AB.
Schedule: 5x2

What You'll Do

  • Clean, wash, and prepare equipment for service and production activities.
  • Scrap, organize, and dispose of parts and materials in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor scrap materials and track waste management activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized yard and storage areas for parts, components, and materials.
  • Clear snow from the yard, sidewalks, steps, and building entrances during winter conditions.
  • Perform minor fence repairs around the worksite perimeter as needed.
  • Operate a skid steer and forklift to move parts, tools, equipment, and materials throughout the yard.
  • Deliver and pick up parts as required.
  • Support general yard maintenance and housekeeping activities.
  • Assist tradespeople by ensuring work areas remain safe, organized, and operational.
What You Bring
 
You bring prior experience in an industrial or trade-related environment, a valid driver's license, and the ability to safely operate equipment such as a skid steer and forklift. You take pride in performing reliable work, supporting a safe workplace, and contributing positively to a team environment.
 
  • Ability to operate a crane.
  • Knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment to safely move machines within a yard environment.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and manual dexterity.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safe, quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment.
