Technical Officer, Power
About this role

Job Purpose
To operate, maintain and repair all power system equipment installed in SMRT in compliance with our Quality objective as stated in our QP/WIs/Tasklists.
Responsibilities
- To carry out the schedule preventive maintenance (PM) work on power system in compliance with relevant procedures and safety requirement.
- To assist Engineering Maintenance Manager (EMM) in supervision of corrective maintenance (CM), upgrading, modification work and major repair work as assigned by EMM. Prepare and submit reports on completion of work.
- To obtain COA and performing operation of electrical equipment.
- To perform general housekeeping, inspection, collect and deliver stores, spare and equipment for the PM & CM work.
- To comply and exercise safety at all times in accordance to Safety Procedures.
- To attend Permit-to-work for all internal and external work parties.
- To perform rotating shift duties.
- To perform driving duty.
- To carry out home based equipment, tools and spare checklist.
- To ensure compliance with our Quality objective as stated in our QP/WIs/Tasklists in daily activities.
- To undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of assigned work
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical Engineering.
- Have 2-3 years work experience in relevant industrial discipline.
Skills
- Able to communicate effectively and work in and as a team.
