Responsibilities

Operations & Facilities Management

  • Coordinate and administer daily infrastructure and facilities management operations across assigned depots, interchanges, and premises.
  • Assist in planning, organising, and supervising maintenance, upgrading, renovation, and minor construction works.
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises, identify defects, and follow up on rectification and improvement works.
  • Ensure all preventive, corrective, and ad-hoc maintenance works are carried out safely, promptly, and in accordance with standards.
  • Support diesel operations at bus depots, including monitoring daily diesel usage and maintaining accurate records.

 

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Administer and monitor outsourced term contracts, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Track contractor work orders, service levels, performance indicators, and verify completion before payment processing.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and service gaps efficiently.
  • Assist in reviewing tender specifications, awards, and contract deliverables in coordination with the Contracts and Procurement teams.

 

Procurement & Asset Administration

  • Oversee procurement processes, including raising asset requests, purchase orders, and documentation for facilities-related needs.
  • Ensure procurement practices align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for assets, maintenance logs, and contract files.

 

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

  • Support compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (e.g. LTA and other authorities), ensuring maintenance records and submissions are timely and accurate.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
  • Compile reports on facilities performance, maintenance activities, contractor outputs, and diesel consumption trends.

 

Planning & Support Functions

  • Assist Managers in budget planning, tracking, and monitoring of OPEX and CAPEX expenditures.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job support to Supervisors and junior staff where required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facilities reliability, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager, Infrastructure & Facilities Management.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field; Degree holders are an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, facilities, or building management.
  • Prior experience in facilities operations, maintenance coordination, or contractor management is preferred.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and basic budget monitoring.
  • Strong coordination, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, audit requirements, and regulated operational environments is advantageous.
  • Proficient in administrative documentation and basic reporting.
