Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform any combination of support duties listed below as instructed by supervisory personnel.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and re-supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
- Maintain property exteriors.
- Operate lawn care equipment and snow removal equipment.
- Clear and clean debris from grounds and buildings.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals.
- Clean and restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water, using commercial cleaning equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Any addition tasks as directed by supervisor.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- English proficiency Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Organizational Relationship: Reports to program manager.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift excess of 50lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions: Inside and outside for extended periods regardless of weather conditions.
Monday through Friday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM. Includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
37.5 Hours per week.
