Descripción del empleo

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Design, develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and work methods.
  • Analyze manufacturing data, identify root causes of process variation, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support new product introductions and process transfers while ensuring manufacturability and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and other functional teams to improve process capability and equipment performance.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities using Lean Manufacturing principles and structured engineering methodologies.
  • Lead and support process validation, equipment qualification, calibration, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Participate in quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Train and coach manufacturing personnel on new processes, work methods, and engineering improvements.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment while supporting operational and business objectives.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using SolidWorks and Arena Simulation Software.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Value Stream Mapping.
  • Intermediate written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
