- Lead and supervise fabrication shop personnel including welders, fitters, machinists, and laborers
- Coordinate daily production schedules to meet operational deadlines and productivity goals
- Ensure fabrication work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor workflow, materials, and inventory to maintain efficient shop operations
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards while promoting a strong safety culture
- Inspect tools, machinery, and shop equipment and coordinate maintenance when needed
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to resolve production challenges
- Train, mentor, and develop fabrication personnel
- Maintain production and labor records and provide updates to management
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings within the fabrication process
- 5+ years of fabrication, welding, or metalworking experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role preferred
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and blueprint reading
- Experience with fabrication equipment such as welders, presses, grinders, shears, and CNC equipment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and maintain workflow
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical training preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Comfortable working in an industrial fabrication environment with noise, dust, and heavy equipment
