- Inspect surface preparation, environmental conditions, and coating applications for compliance with project specifications.
- Perform and document coating inspections, including wet and dry film thickness, adhesion, holiday testing, and final visual inspections.
- Review customer specifications, coating data sheets, and inspection requirements.
- Identify and document nonconformances and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Verify proper storage and handling of coating materials and calibration of inspection equipment.
- Work closely with production, customers, and third-party inspectors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Experience in coating inspection, industrial painting, or quality control.
- Knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation, and inspection methods.
- Familiarity with AMPP (NACE), SSPC, ASTM, or related industry standards is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
