Job Summary

The Shipping employee is responsible for packing, shipping, and order fulfillment. This position helps ensure products are accurately packed, properly labeled, and shipped on time according to company, customer, and carrier requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and dependability.

Responsibilities 

Daily Operations

  • Pack products accurately and securely to prevent damage during handling and shipping.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by verifying quantities, labels, documentation, and customer requirements.
  • Assist in other departments when needed.

Quality and Accuracy

  • Inspect products to ensure orders meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Confirm that shipments are complete and accurate before shipping.

Teamwork and Communication

  • Work cooperatively with shipping, packing, warehouse, and production team members to meet daily schedules.
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment by being dependable, respectful, and willing to assist where needed.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow packing, labeling, and shipping instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to assist in other shipping, packing, or warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
