PLM Consultant (m/k)

Location: Modlniczka, nearby Kraków

We are looking for a PLM Consultant who will be responsible for translating business and PLM process requirements into clear, structured concepts and functional specifications, ensuring alignment with Teamcenter standards, best practices, and the product development lifecycle. The role acts as a functional bridge between business stakeholders, architecture, and development teams, safeguarding solution quality through expert guidance, testing, documentation, and support across implementation, go-live, and operational phases. 

This is what your typical everyday life looks like:

• Analysis, structuring, and prioritization of business requirements from the departments along the PLM and product development processes
• Modeling, evaluation, and optimization of PLM processes, taking into account Teamcenter standard functions and best practices
• Creation of functional specifications, concepts, and use cases as a basis for architectural and implementation decisions
• Central interface role between business departments, solution architects, and development to ensure a shared understanding
• Technical support of the implementation in the DevOps team, including defining acceptance criteria and reviewing the results
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of key user and acceptance tests for quality assurance from the user perspective
• Creation and maintenance of user, process, and system documentation, as well as training materials
• Support for go-live, operation, and support through technical analysis of incidents, changes, and continuous improvement
• Compliance with the work regulations and company policies and procedures
• Carrying out other instructions of the supervisor in accordance with the law and within the agreed type of work

Skills you need for the role:

• Senior, at least 5 years of experience in the field
• Studies in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Economics, Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Proven, in-depth expertise in the usage of PLM applications, specifically in Siemens Teamcenter
• Theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in product development methodologies such as MBSE, V-Model, and CM2
• Basic knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter configuration, including Active Workspace (e.g., BMIDE, workflows, stylesheets)

• Knowledge of IT systems and programs:

  • Usage of Siemens Teamcenter; advanced knowledge
  • Configuration of Siemens Teamcenter incl. AWC (BMIDE, Workflows, Stylesheets, …); basic knowledge
  • Atlassian Jira, Confluence & git; basic knowledge
• English: min. B2 (C1 is a plus)
• German: C1
• Strong customer and results orientation
• Enjoyment of cross-functional and international work
• Curiosity about new technologies and enjoyment of teamwork
• Work in a structured, service-oriented and reliable manner
• Communicate in a friendly, clear and solution-oriented manner
