Job Summary:
 The Install Crew Advanced with Driving position involves leading and executing the setup of the most complex and large-scale event layouts. This position requires advanced knowledge of event equipment and logistics, as well as leadership abilities to guide a team in successful event installations and breakdowns. Drivers in this role will also handle deliveries, pickups, and client interactions with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving and Transportation:
  1. Safely operate company vehicles, including large box trucks, to transport event rental equipment to and from client venues.
  2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic and company driving policies.
• Event Setup and Breakdown:
  1. Oversee and participate in the loading and unloading of rental equipment, ensuring all items are handled with care.
  2. Lead the setup of large-scale and intricate event layouts, including tents, lighting, staging, and specialty configurations.
  3. Coordinate teardown and packing of equipment post-event, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
• Leadership and Training:
  1. Provide guidance and training to junior crew members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  2. Act as the on-site point of contact for crew members and clients, addressing any issues or adjustments as needed.
• Customer Interaction:
  1. Represent Curated Events in a professional and polished manner during all client interactions.
  2. Respond to on-site client requests or concerns and provide updates to management as necessary.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  1. Inspect all rental equipment for quality assurance before and after each event.
  2. Report and document any damages or repair needs to the warehouse team.
• Safety and Compliance:
  1. Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling equipment.
  2. Utilize proper lifting techniques and tools to avoid injuries.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in event setup, warehouse operations, or delivery driving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and train team members in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency in handling large-scale and complex event setups.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
