Rodbuster

We are currently hiring Rodbusters in Orlando, FL for on-going projects. Pay is $25- $28 per hour based on experience and skill set. As a rodbuster you are responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing reinforcing steel and structural frameworks used in large-scale custom fabrication projects. The ideal rodbuster candidate has experience reading blueprints, tying rebar, and working with precision to support specialty builds in a manufacturing environment. OSHA 10 required -  training can be provided for qualified candidates. 

Rodbuster Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel according to project requirements
• Assemble and secure rebar cages, frameworks, and structural components
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate and install reinforcing steel
• Verify measurements and maintain quality standards
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, carpenters, and production team

Rodbuster Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Rod Buster, Ironworker, Rebar Installer, or Structural Steel Fabricator.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Experience cutting, bending, and tying reinforcing steel.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience in custom fabrication, precast concrete, structural steel, or specialty manufacturing is preferred
• OSHA 10 required - training can be provided for qualified candidates
