Pay: Up to $26/hour
Schedule: 40+ hours per week

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced CNC Operators for a manufacturing facility in New Albany, IN. The ideal candidate will have CNC operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Monitor machine operation and production output.
  • Perform in-process and finished-product quality checks.
  • Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
  • Identify production or quality issues and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety and production procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
