Skillforce is seeking skilled Commercial Carpenters for upcoming projects in Louisville, KY. This is a great opportunity for experienced carpenters looking for steady, full-time work on commercial construction sites. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial carpentry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Carpenter Job Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial job sites
- Build, install, and repair structures such as framing, doors, windows, and drywall
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints and specifications
- Install metal/wood studs, blocking, and backing
- Work with hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards
- Collaborate with other trades and crew members to complete projects on time
Carpenter Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- OSHA certification is a plus
