DESCRIPTION

Join our Rating Engineering team as a Software Developer, where you'll collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment, owning deliverables and ensuring top-notch quality. Be heavily involved in turning user stories into testable, maintainable code. This is a hands-on code design and coding role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment, owning deliverables and ensuring top-notch quality.
  • Work on a distributed, high-performance rating system based on Kafka.
  • Turn user stories into testable, maintainable code.
  • Tackle complex challenges as an enthusiastic problem solver.
  • Promote good software engineering practices (e.g., test-driven development, performance in design, self-healing solutions).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, GRPC, MySQL.
  • Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ and Kafka and Kafka Streams.
  • Strong development experience with a deep understanding of the development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Microservice Infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with TDD and/or automation tools such as JUnit, DBUnit, or other automated test frameworks.
  • Proven expertise in designing, building, and operating high-performance, highly available distributed systems.

Salary: 

The monthly salary for this position is between 43,800 SEK – 65,700 SEK. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
