The JR AP assists in the production of S&S audiobooks, including preparation for recording sessions, script review, research and pronunciations, and coordination of authors, actors, and freelance production staff. The JR AP will support senior staff throughout pre-production and recording, as well as during the post-production process. The JR AP will also be involved in casting, the coordination of manuscripts, credits, schedule management, post-production file management and deadline tracking. Candidates must be able to maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- College degree necessary.
- Administrative experience in publishing and/or creative production is preferred.
- Must be proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs, database programs, Excel, Acrobat, and file formatting.

Must also be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a careful and thorough reader.
- Technical familiarity with audio file formats is a plus.
This is a hybrid role, based out of NYC.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
