About the Role
Signant Health is recruiting an IT Delivery Lead to give every significant IT delivery a single, accountable owner from approval through to a compliant go-live. Working within IT’s lean, high-tempo delivery model, the IT Delivery Lead takes end-to-end ownership of automation and Ai delivery — with particular accountability for the cross-boundary work (dependencies, compliance sequencing, decisions, escalation and continuity) that keeps a delivery on track in a regulated, GxP environment.
This is a delivery and coordination role, not a build role: engineering owns the technical work and the initiative roadmap sits with the Sponsor. The IT Delivery Lead owns whether a delivery is genuinely ready to ship — sequencing compliance so it never becomes the bottleneck, confirming dependencies before dates are committed, driving decisions and approvals to closure, and keeping the audit trail complete. It will suit a delivery professional energised by making complex, cross-functional work land in a controlled environment, who is also fluent in how AI and automation are governed and delivered responsibly.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Function
- Delivery ownership — hold a single delivery accountable end to end through the IT SDLC; run its gates (day-one AI-vs-automation classification, Team Confirmation, Go/No-Go, release and closure); confirm the delivery is genuinely ready to go live.
- Boundary & dependency management — maintain the dependency and change-freeze register; confirm feasibility with dependency owners before dates are committed; drive decisions, approvals and escalations to closure; ensure a named deputy for every gate approver.
- Compliance & validation orchestration — sequence GxP compliance so it is never the bottleneck; own the tier-appropriate deliverable set (GxP risk determination, Validation Plan, Process Risk Assessment/FMEA, test evidence, release notification, validation summary) to completion and approval; protect the audit trail.
- Release management — own the release runbook; route production change through the change-management process, including CAB review for high-impact change; sequence sign-offs; confirm hypercare and monitoring ownership before go-live.
- Team cadence — facilitate the daily standup; uphold Jira hygiene and a shared Definition of Done; coordinate UAT and demos.
- Risk & continuous improvement — maintain the project risk register; run delivery retrospectives; maintain shared templates and the delivery playbook so learning is retained in the model.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential:
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Delivery, project or agile certification (e.g. Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL) desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence, coordinate and drive work to closure without direct authority.
- Confident facilitation of agile ceremonies and disciplined use of Jira and delivery tooling.
- Working knowledge of AI and automation governance — and comfort working with AI-enabled delivery tooling.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a habit of surfacing risks and dependencies early.
Desirable:
- Proven delivery or project-management track record taking technology change to production in a regulated (preferably GxP / life-sciences) environment.
- Strong compliance-sequencing and validation awareness (CSA / GAMP 5, change management) with audit-grade documentation discipline.
- Experience delivering automation / RPA and AI-enabled solutions.
- Familiarity with GxP computerised system validation and quality frameworks (21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, ICH E6(R3)).
- Data literacy and experience resolving cross-system data-readiness issues.
