Product Manager

This is a remote position.

We're looking for a Product Manager with 5 years of experience to join a dedicated squad working on the digital transformation of a publicly listed jewellery retail brand. You'll own product discovery, definition, and delivery across mobile app, ecommerce, CRM, and omnichannel experiences that connect digital and physical retail.

This is not a coordination role. You'll be embedded with the client's business team, deeply understand how jewellery retail works (footfall, savings schemes, wedding seasons, exhibitions, store operations), and translate that understanding into product decisions that move revenue and margin.

You'll report to the Senior Product Manager and work closely with an engineering squad, a UX designer, a data analyst, and Shuru's leadership team.

What You'll Do

• Own the product roadmap for your stream, working with the Senior PM to break quarterly goals into weekly deliverables
  

• Run discovery with business stakeholders: understand store operations, customer journeys, sales patterns, and operational pain points firsthand
  

• Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from without ambiguity
  

• Prioritize ruthlessly. The backlog will always be larger than the team's capacity. Your job is to pick what moves the needle
  

• Work with the data analyst to define metrics, track feature impact, and build a habit of data-informed decisions
  

• Coordinate across streams: app, ecommerce (Magento), CRM, analytics, and content
  

• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. Keep the squad focused and unblocked.
  

Requirements

• 5 + years of total experience in technology. You started as an engineer, designer or QA before moving to product. This technical foundation is must have experience because you'll be making solution architecture-adjacent decisions daily
  
• Minimum 2 years in a product management role, ideally on consumer-facing or commerce products
  
• Experience working with cross-functional squads (engineering, design, QA) in an agile delivery setup
  
• Strong written communication. You think in documents, not slide decks. Your PRDs are the source of truth
  
• Comfort with ambiguity. This is a greenfield engagement. There's no legacy product team handing you a backlog. You'll build the product practice alongside the product itself
  
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, or similar) and a habit of defining success metrics before shipping features
  
• Based in Indore or willing to relocate. Hybrid setup requires regular in-person presence at the client's office
