We are looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst with strong hands-on experience in building business reports and dashboards across multiple departments. The candidate must have previous experience working in a trading environment and should understand trading-related data such as accounts, clients, transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, revenue, sales performance, client activity, and financial KPIs. The role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports that support business leaders, Sales, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and other departments with reliable, accurate, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and business reports for different departments.
• Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into clear dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Build reports related to trading activity, client performance, sales performance, revenue, deposits, withdrawals, account status, and operational KPIs.
• Develop clean and scalable data models in Power BI using Power Query and DAX.
• Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business definitions and KPIs.
• Support Finance, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Management teams with reporting and data analysis requirements.
• Validate data quality and investigate issues related to mismatched numbers, missing data, or incorrect calculations.
• Work with data engineering or database teams to understand data sources and improve reporting reliability.
• Optimize Power BI reports for better performance, usability, and refresh efficiency.
• Document report logic, KPIs, data sources, and business definitions.
• Support ad hoc analysis and business requests when required.

Requirements


Required Experience and Skills
• 3-4 years of experience in Power BI reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics.
• Must have previous experience working in a trading, brokerage, fintech, financial markets, investment, or similar financial services company.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report performance optimization.
• Good understanding of trading business concepts such as trades, accounts, clients, instruments, deposits, withdrawals, commissions, spreads, revenue, sales attribution, and client segmentation.
• Experience building reports for multiple business departments, including Sales, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Executive Management.
• Good SQL skills for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into meaningful dashboards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate numbers before publishing reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting requests.
