Software Engineer, III BFI
About this role
Shipping & handling responsibilities
- Implement end-to-end (frontend, backend) solutions for new features and experiences
- Contribute to reusable components that enhance product consistency
- Participate in on-call support rotation
- Develop and lead execution against both short-term and long-term roadmaps
- Work with our product and design teams to refine the scope of new products and capabilities
- Collaborate with other engineers to create milestones that support product requirements
- Implement tools and telemetry to better understand technical and business impact
Your shipping requirements
- BSc in a STEM field, with a preference for computer science and software engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development
- Experience working across both backend and frontend development, including APIs, services, databases, and modern UI frameworks
- Proficiency with React and Typescript
- Familiarity with python, django, SQL databases (Postgres), kubernetes
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
- A mindset of continuous learning, craftsmanship, and team success.
Bonus
- Experience with Go, AWS, billing and payment systems (Stripe)
- Experience with Claude Code and shipping AI powered features
