Shiji Group is a product-based company originating from China, specializing in providing advanced IT systems for the hospitality, food service, and retail industries. The company offers a wide range of technology solutions that help businesses in these sectors optimize operations and enhance customer service. 

In Poland, Shiji Group focuses on the development of the Shiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.  


Your role

We're building a new team dedicated to AI-driven products and platform infrastructure. This is a dedicated engineering group, not a support function, you'll be building the AI tooling, agent infrastructure, and integration layers that other teams rely on.




Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience

- Solid backend engineering fundamentals API design, distributed services, cloud-native development

- Strong Python skills as our infrastructure and services are primarily Python-based

- Sound grasp of SOLID principles and clean software design

- Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock, or similar managed AI/ML services) or similar cloud provider, such as Azure, GCP.

- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve from PoC to production


Nice-to-haves:

- AWS CDK experience (infrastructure-as-code)

- AWS Bedrock AgentCore experience

- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and knowledge base experience

- Agent development experience LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Anthropic Agent SDK, or similar frameworks. Significant plus, as this team builds and orchestrates agentic AI systems

- Familiarity with tool-integration protocols for AI systems (e.g. MCP or similar)

Non-negotiable:

- AI-enabled developer are fluent using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as a core part of daily workflow, not occasional use. This team builds AI tooling and is expected to practice what it builds.
