Description
We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard-working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!
- Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO)
- Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic manner
- Ensure that the banquet area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
- Ensure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated area
- Always be present in room and greet guests upon arrival
- Submit maintenance requests to the engineering department for broken or damaged equipment
- Assist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessary
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guests' complaints/requests and inform others when required

Requirements
Skills to be successful in this role would include:

- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
