Compensation & Schedule
💰 Pay Rate: $63/hr
🏨 Per Diem: $175/Day (7 Days Per Week)
🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month
💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

Join a federal construction contractor supporting a critical infrastructure project involving the replacement of high-pressure steam condensate mains and secondary return piping systems. This role serves as both the Construction Superintendent and Quality Control Manager (QCM), providing leadership for field operations while ensuring quality, contract compliance, and successful project execution.
The successful candidate will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage quality control requirements, and work directly with Government representatives on an occupied federal facility.
Required Qualifications
✔ Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQCM/CQM-C) Certification
✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification
✔ Prior NAVFAC, USACE, DoD, or other federal construction experience (must be clearly identified on resume, including project name, location, and project value)
✔ Experience serving as a Superintendent and/or Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects
✔ Strong knowledge of federal construction documentation and quality control requirements
✔ Experience managing subcontractors, project scheduling, inspections, and testing coordination
✔ Experience working in occupied facility renovation environments
✔ Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining military base access (DBIDS), if required
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience with underground utility or steam distribution projects
⭐ Mechanical piping or industrial utility construction experience
⭐ Experience coordinating directly with Government representatives
⭐ Construction management or engineering degree
⭐ EM 385-1-1 knowledge or experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide overall field supervision for daily construction operations
- Manage all Quality Control (QC) requirements throughout the project
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, schedules, and daily work execution
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and federal quality standards
- Conduct preparatory meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections, and testing coordination
- Review and manage Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and project documentation
- Maintain daily reports, inspection reports, QC documentation, and project records
- Coordinate quality inspections, testing requirements, and corrective actions
- Partner directly with Government representatives regarding project progress and quality compliance
- Monitor construction involving steam condensate mains, secondary return piping, and underground utility work
- Support project safety requirements and ensure OSHA compliance throughout field operations
- Manage project documentation, contract compliance, and closeout requirements
- Promote quality workmanship while maintaining schedule and production goals
