Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $45/hr

🏨 Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates)

🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month

💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly

⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

The Construction Field Safety Representative will maintain a strong field presence, monitor high-risk construction activities, and help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification

✔ Experience supporting excavation and concrete construction operations

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ General contractor safety experience

⭐ Amazon or large distribution center construction experience

⭐ Competent Person - Excavation & Trenching

⭐ Heavy civil or site development experience

⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety support for excavation and concrete operations
• Maintain a visible field presence alongside craft personnel and project supervision
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor excavation, trenching, concrete placement, and reinforcing activities
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
• Support excavation protective systems, access/egress, and spoil pile management
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Monitor heavy equipment operations and material handling activities
• Communicate safety concerns and corrective actions to project leadership
• Maintain safety documentation, inspections, and compliance records
• Promote safe work practices through coaching and employee engagement
• Help foster a proactive safety culture throughout the project
