Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $52/hr

🏨 Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)

🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month

💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours Per Week

Join a contractor supporting a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, OH. This role provides hands-on field safety oversight across multiple active scopes of work, including trenching, excavation, concrete construction, site development, and potentially electrical activities.

The Field Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, subcontractors, and project supervision to identify hazards, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safe execution of multiple construction activities in a fast-paced data center environment.


Required Qualifications

✔ CHST Certification

✔ OSHA 510 Certification

✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification

✔ Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience

✔ Experience supporting excavation, trenching, and concrete construction activities


Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Data center or mission-critical construction experience

⭐ Excavation/Trenching Competent Person experience

⭐ Heavy civil or site development experience

⭐ Concrete construction safety experience

⭐ Electrical construction safety experience

⭐ NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) knowledge


What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide daily field safety oversight across multiple construction scopes
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
  • Monitor trenching, excavation, concrete, and site development activities
  • Support electrical construction activities as project scope progresses
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and hazard assessments
  • Monitor heavy equipment and mobile equipment operations
  • Verify excavation protective systems, access/egress, spoil placement, and changing site conditions
  • Monitor concrete placement, reinforcing, formwork, and related activities
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
  • Coordinate safety activities with subcontractors, project supervision, and site leadership
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
