COMPENSATION

💲 Pay Rate: $48 to $51 per hour
🍽️ Per Diem: $125 per day
⏱️ Expected Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week
💸 Pay Frequency: Weekly

This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced Safety Manager looking to maximize earnings on a fast-paced data center construction project.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sheakley is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support a general contractor on an active data center build in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

The selected professional will maintain a strong field presence, work closely with project leadership and subcontractors, and help ensure construction activities are completed safely and in accordance with site requirements.

This position requires someone who understands the demanding pace, strict documentation standards, and high-risk operations associated with large-scale data center construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Conduct daily site safety inspections and field observations
✅ Identify hazards and implement immediate corrective actions
✅ Monitor subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements
✅ Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and pre-task planning meetings
✅ Review JHAs, JSAs, and other required safety documentation
✅ Support incident investigations and corrective-action tracking
✅ Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and safety documentation
✅ Partner with field leadership to reinforce a proactive safety culture
✅ Monitor high-risk activities and stop unsafe work when necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

🔹 Previous data center construction experience is required
🔹 Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
🔹 Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
🔹 Current First Aid/CPR certification
🔹 Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards
🔹 Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in a fast-moving environment
🔹 Strong communication, documentation, and hazard-recognition skills
🔹 Must be available to start immediately and work 50 to 60 hours per week
