💰 Pay Rate: $56/hr

🏨 Per Diem: None

🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month

💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Mon - Friday 50/HR, 6:30 am - 5 pm

📈 Weekend Work as Project Needs Require

This long-term opportunity provides hands-on construction safety leadership while multiple trades complete expansion and facility construction activities within an active industrial environment.

The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while partnering with project leadership, contractors, and craft personnel to identify hazards, maintain OSHA compliance, and safely coordinate construction activities around ongoing manufacturing operations.


Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification

✔ Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience


Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Industrial or manufacturing construction experience

⭐ Building expansion or renovation experience

⭐ Experience supporting construction within active manufacturing facilities

⭐ Multi-trade contractor safety oversight experience

⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential


What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily safety activities for building expansion and construction operations
  • Maintain a strong field presence alongside contractors and project supervision
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
  • Monitor multiple construction trades and subcontractor activities
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Support safe coordination between construction activities and ongoing manufacturing operations
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Monitor fall protection, elevated work, material handling, and equipment operations
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
  • Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
