Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $52/hr

⏱️ Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours

🏨 Per Diem: $140/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates)

🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month

💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 50 Hours Per Week | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

📈 Possible Saturdays Depending on Project Needs

Join an electrical contractor supporting the new construction of a large-scale data center in Ellendale, ND. This long-term role provides hands-on safety oversight for electrical construction activities throughout multiple phases of a mission-critical project.

The Construction Safety Manager will work closely with electricians, field supervision, and project leadership to support electrical installations, temporary power, equipment installation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and evolving energization activities while maintaining compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.


Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Construction Certification

✔ 5+ years of construction safety experience

✔ Experience working with electrical contractors

✔ Electrical construction safety experience


Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Data center or mission-critical construction experience

⭐ NFPA 70E knowledge or experience

⭐ Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and hazardous-energy control experience

⭐ Experience supporting energization and electrical safe work planning

⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential


What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily safety activities for electrical construction operations
  • Maintain a strong field presence alongside electricians and project supervision
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
  • Monitor electrical installation, conduit, cable, equipment, and infrastructure activities
  • Support temporary power and electrical distribution safety
  • Monitor evolving energization activities as the project progresses
  • Support and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and hazardous-energy control procedures
  • Monitor electrical safe work practices and required PPE
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific electrical safety requirements
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task plans, permits, and energy control procedures
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
  • Partner with field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
