Brief Overview:
The Marketing and Communications Team is the engine that drives the company's image, promotes its offerings, and manages its relationships with all stakeholders. It is responsible for developing and executing cohesive strategies that communicate the company’s value to both internal and external audiences.
Learning Objectives:
This internship offers you the unique opportunity to gain end-to-end hands-on experience across the full suite of our Marketing and Communications initiatives. You will be able to gain valuable insights into the energy and electricity sector and gain practical experience in:
- Social Media Management and Digital Engagement
- Corporate Branding and Public Awareness
- Internal and External Communications Strategy
- Event Planning and Execution
- Content Creation and Copywriting
Job Description:
The intern will primarily assist in enhancing our public awareness and digital presence. Key responsibilities include:
- Social Media Management: Assisting with content creation, scheduling, and execution of posts for key corporate platforms, with a special focus on LinkedIn.
- Website Content: Supporting the team in updating and managing content on the company website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Internal Communications: Assisting in drafting and coordinating internal announcements.
- External Communications: Supporting the team with media monitoring, website updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Event Support: Providing logistical and communications support for various company events (e.g., networking functions and internal events).
- General Administrative Support: Assisting the Communications Team with any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Knowledge and Skills requirements/Ideal Characteristics:
- Communications Skills (Must): Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Social Media Management (Must): Knowledge of best practices for corporate social media platforms, especially LinkedIn content creation and scheduling.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail Oriented: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
