Primary Duties

- Responsible for all traffic management processes to include, but not limited to, shipment planning and traffic management duties, packing, crating, customized packaging, consolidating, palletizing, labeling and marking, loading and unloading of vehicles, certification of hazardous materials for transporting, tracing, and clearing NGA's inbound shipments through U.S. Customs for commodities, including hazardous materials.
- Planning, operating, programming, administering and managing Mail Centers, Mail Containment Facility, and Mobile Distribution Services.
- Possess authority and be the issuing officer for Bills of Lading.
- Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles.
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
- Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed fee and tariff increases or schedule changes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
- Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in contract administration with knowledge in the traffic management field preferred
- High school diploma or state certified equivalent and five years’ experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.

- Ability to work effectively as a supervisor and peer to accomplish necessary work.
