About this role

Client Services Manager

Senior Helpers of Sarasota/Bradenton

Senior Helpers is a national leader in in-home senior care, and our Sarasota/Bradenton office is expanding. We are seeking a Client Services Manager who can both develop strategic referral partnerships and support the day-to-day client services process — from intake and assessments to care plan development and caregiver coordination — working alongside our Client Services Director and care team. Preferred candidates already have an established referral network in the senior care/healthcare community and can bring that business with them; candidates without an existing network who have strong relationship-building skills and are ready to build one will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships with key referral partners — discharge planners, elder law attorneys, guardians, nurses, case managers, assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities, hospice teams, geriatric care managers and more— while also managing the client experience from first inquiry through ongoing care, including assessments, creating care plans, and matching caregivers.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and grow referral relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities, physicians' offices, elder law attorneys, guardians, nurses, case managers, financial advisors, and other senior-serving professionals throughout the Sarasota/Bradenton area
  • Represent Senior Helpers at community events, professional networking groups, and industry associations
  • Track outreach activity and referral source engagement, and report on business development progress
  • Contribute to local marketing and community outreach initiatives
  • Follow up with referral sources to ensure satisfaction with current clients

Client Services

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new client inquiries, guiding prospective clients and families through the intake process with professionalism and care
  • Respond promptly to client, family, and prospect inquiries and log new leads in WellSky
  • Maintain and audit client files to ensure accuracy and ongoing compliance with state licensing requirements
  • Perform client assessments, reassessments, and LifeProfiles as needed
  • Develop and maintain client care plans, and log them in WellSky so caregivers can track tasks
  • Maintain accurate client records in WellSky, including bill rates, and communicate rates to the Scheduling Coordinator
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers on care plan updates, report requirements, and client introductions
  • Introduce caregivers to clients at the start of service or when a replacement caregiver is used
  • Assist with on-site training for new caregivers
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including after-hours assessments and on-call support
  • Partner with the care team and Client Services Director to ensure a seamless transition from inquiry to service start
  • Uphold company customer service standards across all client and family interactions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • An established network of referral contacts and/or existing book of business in senior care, healthcare, or a related field within the Sarasota/Bradenton area is strongly preferred; candidates without an existing network but with strong relationship-building ability and initiative will also be considered
  • Experience in home care, senior living, or healthcare is a plus
  • Comfortable on a laptop and tech-savvy; proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel); WellSky experience preferred but not required — training provided
  • Demonstrated ability to represent an organization professionally and build relationships in person
  • Excellent communication skills and strong follow-through
  • Willing and able to participate in an after hours on-call rotation,
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Genuine compassion for seniors and families navigating care decisions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $50,000–$65,000 annually (negotiable above this range for candidates who bring an established book of business and referral relationships)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (salaried position)
  • Two weeks of paid time off in the first year, with increases based on tenure
  • Paid holidays, with full office closure
  • Health insurance stipend in lieu of an employer-sponsored plan (negotiable)
  • Opportunities for advancement within the client services team for strong performers
  • A supportive, collaborative office environment
