Job Purpose

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the manufacturing area, ensuring effective team management, operational efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. This role fosters a positive work culture and drives continuous improvement per Select Finishing’s strategic objectives.

Duties

  1. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Directly manage a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings and performance discussions, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
    • Develop team members through targeted training programs and career development opportunities.
  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee production processes to ensure timely execution and quality compliance.
    • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency and output.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
    • Uphold all company safety protocols, conducting regular safety training and audits.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
    • Implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment.
  1. Process Improvement:
    • Champion initiatives aimed at process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to uphold product standards and address any quality issues.
    • Encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation within the team.

Minimum Relevant Work Experience (years)

3-5 years
