Integration Technician – Robotic Systems
About this role
Integration Technician – Robotic Systems
Chichester, UK | Full-Time | On-Site
Build the systems powering the future of autonomous aviation
If you're someone who enjoys building complex systems, solving practical engineering problems, and seeing your work operate in the real world, this is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's most exciting deep-tech companies as it scales from innovation into impact.
sees.ai is developing the operating system for autonomous drone operations, enabling advanced drones to be deployed safely beyond visual line of sight in support of critical national infrastructure. Our technology is already delivering real-world value, and we're now expanding our operational fleet and deployment capability.
We're looking for an Integration Technician to help build, integrate, test, and maintain the sophisticated unmanned systems that sit at the heart of those operations.
The Opportunity
This is not a repetitive production-line assembly role.
You'll be working on advanced unmanned aerial platforms that combine sensors, communications equipment, compute hardware, power systems, and mission-critical payloads into operational systems deployed in demanding environments.
The role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and deployment. You'll work closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, and flight operations specialists to ensure systems are built reliably, configured correctly, and ready for operational use.
As the company grows, you'll have the opportunity to contribute not only to system builds, but also to improving integration processes, workshop standards, testing approaches, and the scalability of our operational capability.
What You'll Be Doing
Building, integrating and configuring complex unmanned systems
Carrying out wiring, harnessing, mechanical assembly and system installation
Supporting testing, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
Working with engineering teams to validate system performance
Supporting maintenance, upgrades and operational readiness of the fleet
Helping improve integration processes, workshop standards and testing procedures
What We're Looking For
Experience building or integrating complex electromechanical systems
Strong practical assembly, wiring and integration skills
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics or integration documentation
Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware or system issues
High attention to detail and pride in build quality
Comfortable working in a fast-moving engineering environment
Desirable Experience
UAV, robotics, aerospace, defence or motorsport experience
Linux, networking, embedded systems or RF communications exposure
Soldering, crimping and cable assembly experience
Experience supporting prototype or low-volume production environments
You'll join a mission-driven team solving some of the most interesting challenges in autonomous aviation. The environment is hands-on, collaborative and fast-moving, with a genuine opportunity to influence how systems are built as the company scales.
