If you're someone who enjoys fast-paced recruiting, loves staying organised, and takes pride in getting the details right, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Source and attract qualified commercial driver candidates through job boards, referrals, networking and proactive outreach.
  • Review applications and conduct initial phone interviews.
  • Verify employment history, licences and qualifications.
  • Coordinate background checks, criminal record checks, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews and other pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Schedule interviews, road tests and drug testing where applicable.
  • Build, maintain and audit Driver Qualification files to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Track candidates throughout the recruitment process using our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Create and maintain accurate driver profiles and hiring records.
  • Partner closely with Operations leaders to understand hiring priorities and workforce needs.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and hiring metrics.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration or transportation recruiting is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting commercial drivers or within the transportation/logistics industry is an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is considered an asset.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in accurate, compliant work.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently over the phone and by email.
  • Can manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously without losing track of details.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Are proactive, organised and enjoy solving problems before they become issues.
