Material Handler I (1st Shift)

Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. -- 6 a.m.
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6 am - 4 pm

- Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
- Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
- Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
- Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
- Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.
- Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.
