Additional $2.00 shift differential from 6:00 p.m. -- 6:00 a.m.
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 6:00am-6:30pm

- Perform routine electrical repairs, installation, and adjustments on plant equipment, ensuring proper electrical function and safety while utilizing a variety of power and hand tools.
- Assist in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues, applying appropriate corrective actions to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Support major electrical repairs and construction projects related to plant buildings and machinery as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical cords, motors, and components; replace starters, relays, switches, fuses, disconnects, and wiring to ensure reliable operation.
- Utilize electrical testing instruments (voltage/ohm meters, amp meters) and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and verify motor windings, line voltages, fuse sizing, and wiring configurations in compliance with USDA and company policies.
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
- Basic electrical skills required, Arc Flash trained, must understand solid state circuitry, must understand 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, diagnose problems with programmable controllers on equipment, and operate electrical testing equipment and machining equipment.
- Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations, and be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
