Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Mexico City to handle all pay roll-related responsibilities. The Payroll Analyst will research tax and law changes to ensure Schneider’s processes remain compliant.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and analyze payroll to ensure accuracy. 
  • Make recommendations based on payroll findings. 
  • Resolve payroll issues through troubleshooting, researching and communicating with the necessary parties in a timely manner. 
  • Document resolutions in detail and escalate complex issues when needed. 
  • Work on projects related to improving processes and upgrading systems. 
  • Prepare and create journal entries. 
  • Generate reports with compiled data for management to review and analyze. 
  • Maintain an understanding of all tax changes. 
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information. 


Skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance. 
  • 2-4 years of payroll experience. 
  • Excellent financial analysis skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
