Senior Data Engineer (DBT, AWS, SQL) 

 

Join us as a Senior Data Engineer and play a pivotal role in building and scaling modern data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

 

 

What will you do? 

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using dbt, SQL,  AWS services i.e S3, Redshift,  Airflow and related frameworks. 
  • Build and optimize complex data transformations and SQL workloads for large-scale datasets. 
  • Design and implement data models following data warehousing and analytics engineering best practices. 
  • Develop and maintain data solutions leveraging AWS S3, Glue and Redshift. 
  • Orchestrate and monitor data workflows to ensure reliability, scalability and performance. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts and BI teams to deliver data solutions. 
  • Establish data quality, governance, monitoring and documentation standards. 
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

  • dbt 
  • AWS services (S3, Redshift) 
  • Airflow 
  • Advanced SQL and performance tuning 
  • Strong understanding of Databases, Data Warehousing and Data Lake concepts 
  • Analytical thinking 
  • Communicate with confidence, structure and clarity 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 

Good to Have Skills 

  • Informatica PowerCenter/IICS 
  • Power BI or Tableau 
  • CI/CD and Git 
  • Agile/Scrum 
  • AWS Glue 
  • Python / PySpark

Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 
    • 5-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, ETL or Data Warehousing 
    • Experience delivering scalable enterprise data solutions on AWS
