Job Overview

The Slurry Technician is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for all process and cleaning operations of the waste equipment during a 24/7 daily production schedule.

    • Maintain cleanliness of area

    • Perform daily mechanical checks on all waste equipment and permit required activities

    • Assist building maintenance team technicians during equipment troubleshooting / failures to fix/repair equipment

  • Responsible for acquiring egg waste samples for kinetics sampling and dryness testing

  • During offseason when waste is not running employees to perform light maintenance duties

    • Patch and paint

    • Assist with HVAC filter removal

    • Disposal of mechanical area trash

    • Perform floor cleaning both GMP and non GMP as needed

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred. Experience operating machinery a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license. May be required to be forklift certified. Completed all safety and task training certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be able to read and write in English. Willing to take a flu vaccine (required).

$17.50-$18.50 per hour
