Supply Chain Intern

What You’ll Do:

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across various supply chain and operations functions, working closely with the Supply Chain and Operations teams. This role will provide exposure to shipping, receiving, inventory management, purchasing, and ERP systems.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Assist with daily shipping and receiving activities.

  • Help verify shipments, packing slips, and related documentation.

  • Support coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Assist with resolving shipping and receiving discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving transactions.

Inventory Management:

  • Assist with inventory management and organization.

  • Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and help reconcile discrepancies.

  • Update inventory records and ensure data accuracy.

  • Assist with investigating inventory variances and identifying potential causes.

  • Support efforts to maintain accurate inventory levels and warehouse records.

Purchasing & Open Purchase Orders:

  • Assist with reviewing and maintaining the Open PO (Purchase Order) Report.

  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and help track order status.

  • Assist with identifying delayed, incomplete, or outstanding orders.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier-related information.

  • Support the Supply Chain team with purchasing and procurement-related activities.

NDA & Documentation Support:

  • Assist with maintaining and updating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

  • Help ensure NDA records and documentation are accurate and up to date.

  • Support document management and organization for supply chain activities.

  • Assist with maintaining confidential information in accordance with company policies.

ERP & Data Entry:

  • Perform accurate data entry in Epicor and maintain system records.

  • Assist with updating shipping, receiving, inventory, and purchasing information.

  • Help ensure data entered into the ERP system is complete and accurate.

  • Generate and maintain reports as requested by the Supply Chain team.

  • Identify and communicate data discrepancies or system-related issues.

General Supply Chain Support:

  • Provide administrative and operational support for Supply Chain projects.

  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Program Area of Study: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to accurately handle data and maintain detailed records.

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

  • A proactive, dependable, and positive attitude.

  • Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on operational environment.
