Position Summary:

The position of Senior Application Developer is responsible for senior level design, development, maintenance, integration and support of the internet and intranet web sites, including the design and implementation of new concepts and prototypes. Maintain quality service standards set by the organization.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience.
  • 6+ years of related IT industry experience. 
  • Financial Services/Banking experience is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented programming, scripting and functional programming. 
  • Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience building secure web applications using a combination of latest technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with relational database like Microsoft SQL server.
  • Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, C# and T-SQL.
  • Experience developing mobile applications using native or hybrid technologies is a big plus.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Angular JS, Node JS, React Native is a plus.
  • Good UI/UX design skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology/concepts quickly. 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. 
  • Experience with source control systems like GIT/TFS, VSTS, CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Familiar with Open Web Application Security Project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Experience with Visual Source Safe and Subversion source control software.
  • Understand business problems/requirements specs provide efficient design solutions. 
  • Write technical specification documents based on requirements. 
  • Reviews, analyze, program, test, and debug software for a large-scale systems.
  • Develop new software with complex third party integrations.
  • Work with senior developers to review architecture, design and perform code reviews. 
  • Conduct technical assessment of new products, provide input to Manager, Digital Channels. 
  • Support Manager, Digital Channels in planning, oversight, technical activities. 
  • Adhere to application development standard guidelines.
  • Preform unit testing in accordance with department policies and guidelines.
  • Reports status on activities, issues, projects to Manager, Digital Channels.
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution to info center enquiries, regarding custom applications. 
  • Participate in AML/BSA compliance training as assigned.  Adhere to credit union AML/BSA policy and procedures including CTR rules and form preparation, identify and refer suspicious activity to the Compliance Department, perform OFAC comparisons, and properly identify individuals in accordance with Branch Operations procedures.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate special projects as assigned.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed.

Saturday-Sunday - OFF
Full time - 40 hours
