Role Summary

At our warehouse in Alcala de Henares you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. You will have an overview in the WMS of the production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations, resulting in a high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistic coordinator role is located in the Regional Distribution Center in Madrid. Key activities include:

  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area. Move inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse;

  • Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements;

  • Support daily warehouse production plan;

  • Coordinate unloading and loading slots at the warehouse;

  • Control inventory by coordinating physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data;

  • Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs;

  • Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

  • Create and share reports within the organization and to customer; Organize meetings with individual team members in order to build trust among team members and create shared responsibility.

Requirements

For this role we are looking for a strong team builder with a result driven mindset. Our ideal candidate is a flexible problem-solver with a hands-on mentality, able to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Logistic coordinator

  • Problem solving skills

  • Good knowledge of WMS systems

  • A proficient level of English and Spanish

  • Team player who supports wherever support is needed

  • This job is for 8 months to cover maternity and paternity leaves
