The Team:
We develop state-of-the-art image sensors, that are integrated into the cameras of leading mobile smartphone. Our technology enables billions of photos and videos captured worldwide.
As a team member, you'll gain a deep, end-to-end understanding of all system layers and chip development flow. From block and IP level through chip and system. Chip security, image quality and user interfaces.
The team is responsible over the FW verification, ensuring FW reliability and functionality. It involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate firmware behavior across all system layers, from low-level hardware interaction to high-level user interfaces, ultimately identifying and resolving bugs before product release.
The team also responsible over developing test framework over HW emulators such as Pallidum and PFGA.
What will you do?
- The job includes a thorough study of the world of image sensors, architecture, security, hardware and software.
- Conduct thorough verification of firmware and integrated hardware-software systems.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for real-time embedded firmware.
- Develop testing framework (in Python) and automation infrastructure that verify firmware correctness.
- Collaborate with firmware and algorithm engineers to identify, analyze, and debug issues.
- Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware testing, verification, or automation for real-time embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and embedded system architecture.
- Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Ability to define and implement test plans and test cases.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn.
- Ability to quickly grasp new fields and technologies.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation.
- Good C programming skills.
Advantages:
- Experience in debugging integrated hardware-software systems during the hardware development stage.
- Experience in architecting and building test automation frameworks and solutions.
- Experience working with hardware emulators for pre-silicon validation, such as Palladium, FPGA, QEMU.
- Strong test discipline, test strategy, and test automation experience.
- Proficiency in writing code with AI coding assistance.
- Good C++ programming skills.
- Experience with pyTest, version control, CI flow.
- Experience with image sensors or image signal processing.
