About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated Network Field Technicians (Tier 1) to join a growing team supporting enterprise data center deployments in Santiago, Chile.

This is an excellent entry point into the data center and networking industry. If you have experience in a hands-on technical environment and are eager to build a career in network infrastructure, you'll receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced technicians and engineers on large-scale projects.

You'll be joining an expanding operation with long-term career development opportunities and clear progression into more advanced technical roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, racking, and cabling of network equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.

  • Support the installation and termination of fiber optic and copper cabling under the guidance of senior technicians.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of physical network connectivity issues.

  • Follow network diagrams, rack layouts, and installation plans accurately.

  • Assist with Wi-Fi survey preparation and equipment setup.

  • Label equipment, document completed work, and maintain organized project records.

  • Support site readiness activities, including rack preparation, cabling routes, and power checks.

  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on site.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a process-driven, hands-on environment such as IT support, networking, field services, telecommunications, construction, logistics, mechanical trades, or similar technical work.

  • Basic understanding of structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics), or transferable experience working with cables and wiring.

  • Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

  • Excellent work ethic with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Comfortable using hand tools and working in physically demanding environments.

  • Ability to lift equipment when required.

  • Based within commuting distance of Santiago.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCT, or equivalent, or currently working toward one.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, patching, and network ports.

  • Experience with structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center environments.
