About the Role
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to our Co-Founder and CEO and help keep the broader team organized and moving quickly.
This is a highly administrative, fast-paced role that goes well beyond calendar management. You’ll manage complex scheduling, coordinate travel, prepare materials, track follow-ups, support company-wide logistics, and step in wherever needed to keep priorities moving.
The pace is intense, the hours are long, and plans can change quickly. The right person is energized by startup chaos, stays calm under pressure, and is always thinking several steps ahead.
What You’ll Do
Manage the Co-Founder and CEO’s complex inboxes, calendar, meetings, travel, and shifting priorities
Coordinate internal and external meetings across customers, investors, and partners
Draft communications, prepare briefing materials, and organize presentations and reports
Track follow-ups, action items, deadlines, and important administrative details
Anticipate needs and proactively resolve scheduling, logistical, and administrative issues
Support company-wide administrative projects, events, lunches, and team gatherings
Support employee system onboarding, including account setup, access permissions, and equipment coordination, and ensuring new hires are ready to go on day one
Jump into whatever needs to get done in a fast-moving startup environment
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Business Partner, or in a similar high-touch administrative role
Experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a startup or high-growth environment
Comfortable with long hours, changing priorities, limited structure, and the realities of a fast-growing startup
Exceptional calendaring, written communication, organization, and follow-through
Calm, even-keeled, persistent, and able to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
Highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and scheduling tools
A service-first mindset and willingness to take on work outside a narrowly defined job description
At Salient, we’re building at the edge of AI - fast, focused, and with real ownership. Sprints and major launches move quickly, and we look for people who are energized by that pace. We also offer a benefits package designed to support our full-time employees: medical, dental, and vision coverage, a generous 401(k), and catered lunches.
